
U.S. Embassy Notice to Americans
Starting June 15, 2009, U.S. Embassy is Switching to Online Appointment System Effective June 15, 2009, applicants for Passports, Additional Passport Pages, and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA) will be seen by appointment only. Before making an appointment, please follow completely the instructions at Applicants who come unprepared to the Embassy will have their appointments cancelled. Persons seeking notarial and other American Citizen services are seen Monday-Friday, 10:00 am to 11:00 am, except on Indonesian and American holidays, not by appointment. If you have followed all instructions you may now book a passport, CRBA, additional passport pages appointment at https://evisaforms.state.gov/ Passports and Consular Reports of Birth are available for pick-up from 2:30 – 3:15 pm, Monday to Friday, except on Indonesian and American holidays. In case of the death, arrest or serious injury to an American, please contact us directly: Americans living and traveling outside the U.S. are urged to register and update their contact information with the U.S. Department of State’s Consular Affairs website at http://travelregistration.state.gov. Registration allows us to contact Americans in an emergency and automatically email travel warnings. All registered information is protected by the Privacy Act.
