Notice: U.S. government offices worldwide generally close early on 24 and 31 Dec, by Presidential order, sometimes with little advance notice.  Please assume that we will be closed on the afternoons of 24 and 31 Dec and plan your visits here accordingly.  We see all visa and passport applicants by appointment only.

We see all visa applicants by prior appointment only.  To make an NIV appointment, please go to NIV appointments. To make an IV appointment, please go to our U.S. Embassy Jakarta website  describing the IV process.  There is no same day visa processing.

NIV applicants younger than 14 or older than 79 years of age are not interviewed in person and should not come to the embassy.  An immediate relative (parent, spouse or child) may submit their complete NIV application and passport on their behalf. 

Citizens of certain countries may seek entry to the U.S., including Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (e.g. Saipan), as visitors only, without a visa.  Please see Travel.State.gov and Department of Homeland Security respectively.  Indonesian citizens must possess a valid passport with the appropriate visa for any entry to the U.S. or its territories.

Location: Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan No. 5, Jakarta Pusat, just south of the Indonesian National Monument in Central Jakarta.  There is no parking at or near the Embassy so please come by taxi.
