About The Information Resource Center

The Information Resource Center is a reference service providing up-to- date information to Indonesian audiences on the United States, its people and its policies. The subject emphasis is on American politics and government, economics and trade, foreign affairs and defense, education and the culture, as well as global issues such as drugs, human rights and the environment.

Staffed by professional reference specialists and equipped with modern information retrieval technologies such as CD-ROMs, on-line databases and the Internet, the IRC can provide continually updated information on current U.S. policy and legislation to Indonesian government officials, academics and journalists.
