The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking individuals for the position of L/Guards (Patrol) in the Local Security Office (LSY).

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

The patrol guard will patrol one of nine sections in the city which Embassy residences and properties are located. The incumbent will patrol the areas during the course of their shift, check each residence or property to ensure that guards on duty are present and vigilant and that no situation exists which threatens the safety or security of Embassy employees or property.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.

1. Completion of secondary high school or diploma is required.

2. Minimum three (3) years of previous military or police, or security related duties is required.

3. Level II (limited knowledge) in speaking/reading/writing English and Level III (good working knowledge) in Bahasa is required.

4. Must have knowledge of guard orders and conduct, as well as security systems to include radio communications.

5. Possession of valid driver’s license SIM A and SIM C. And the ability to pass a driving test is required.
