The U.S. Embassy Jakarta is seeking an Eligible Family Member (AEFM) for employment for up to five position of Roving Administrative Clerk in the Human Resources Office.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

On an as-needed basis, provide temporary office and functional coverage for American employees.  Perform short-term assistance for special projects or periods of increased work levels in any Mission office to which incumbent is assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.

·         At least High School Diploma and the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

·         Six months to one year secretarial/clerical or customer service experience.

·         Web Gram, Clout, Time/Attendance and other training as relevant to the section to which incumbent is assigned.

·         Level 4 English (speaking, writing and reading) is required.

·         Should be familiar with structure of the US Mission and responsibilities of individual offices.  Incumbent will need to know Embassy/Department of State security procedures (including handling classified materials).  Communications procedures and other basic office procedures.

·         Must be quick learner able to adapt to a variety of office settings.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer programs used by US Mission.  Requires office management skills, i.e. work processing, filing, drafting correspondence, etc.  Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule, make travel arrangements, and coordinate projects.
