U.S. Embassy Hosts 2008 U.S. Elections Program

December 28, 2007 (Jakarta) – The U.S. Embassy hosted Indonesian university students, NGOs, and think tank representatives for a discussion on the upcoming U.S. Presidential Elections. Officers from the U.S. Embassy briefed the group on the American electoral process, including the Electoral College, caucuses, primaries, and party conventions. The general election for the next U.S. president.
